Description
Hiking in the Sierra de Bernia offers wonderful views of the wide mountainous landscape that is located near the Mediterranean coast. This photograph was taken on the hiking trail that goes around the rugged mountain ridge. The path leads to the ruins of a historic fortress and through a natural rock tunnel. The striking shape of the mountain range and the rugged slopes of the Sierra de Bernia inspired me to take this photo.
The Sierra de Bernia mountain range enchants with its ruins, vertical rock faces and fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea. It is a popular hiking destination on the Costa Blanca in Spain.
My work is inspired by long hikes on remote mountain trails in the Alicante province in Spain. When I explore enchanting paths in the middle of nature and let my gaze wander into the distance, the feelings of freedom and serenity are omnipresent. This mountain landscape is destined to bring some of the magic of the mountains and the timeless beauty of nature into your four walls.

What a striking and gorgeous capture of this mesmerizing mountain range Adriana!! the splendid composition and details in here is just wow! there are so many things to explore in a single image. so hard to take my eyes off those captivating rock formation. the depth is so amazing. you did a great job. i love studying rock formation and do fossil hunting on my side of the world. love taking macro images of them too because they are simply a living piece of abstract art to me. awesome image!! Thank you very much, dear Kevin. On the day I took this picture, there was no cloud in the sky and it was fantastic foresight. Ideal conditions and I had the luck to enjoy a lot of clear fresh mountain air. Great that you like rocks and fossils! I really like the abstract structures of rocks and fossils, too. They bear the marks of time and tell a long story.
