Cumbre del Sol II, Costa Blanca Spain

Cumbre del Sol II, Costa Blanca Spain

Clear sea water and rugged limestone cliffs.

Sea water flows over the rocks and reaches the coast. At the foot of the Cumbre des Sol mountain are rocky coves known for their crystal-clear water and imposing rock formations. Cala dels Testos can only be accessed via a tricky path that also leads to the climbing rocks. At this remote location, seawater meets rock that has been shaped by the power of water over many thousands of years. The sight of the rugged rocks makes me think about time and change in nature. Just above the bay is the Mirador dels Testos viewpoint. The plateau offers a fantastic view of the picturesque bay, which is surrounded by steep cliffs.

Nearby is Cala Moraig, where I like to spend time on the beach and look at the clear water. I am particularly inspired by the movements and reflections that give the surface of the water an abstract effect. In my opinion, the flowing water represents the beauty of nature, which is characterised by constant movement and change. The surroundings are defined by the light colours of the limestone, but also by the blue tones of the sea water.

When I'm on the Mediterranean coast, I'm particularly fascinated by details, the interplay of colours and the abstract textures of the water. I like to capture my impressions and the subtle changes in the water with my camera. This photo series is dedicated to the steep cliffs, but also to the movements and colours of the flowing water. Each shot shows a brief and unique moment, which in turn is part of the constant change in nature. With the beach scenes, I would like to bring the relaxing effect of seawater and the magic of the moment into your home.

Mountains around the Vall de Pop valley in Spain

Mountains around the Vall de Pop valley in Spain

The Vall de Pop valley is located in the north of the Alicante province and is surrounded by a fascinating mountainscape. Starting from the traditional villages of Jalón and Parcent, I explored some of the well-known hiking routes as well as remote paths. Inspired by the historic paths and the views of the picturesque landscape, I always had my camera with me.

"Green mountain landscapes and imposing rock formations." This photo series is dedicated to the mountain landscapes of the Sierra del Carrascal de Parcent, Penya Talai, Sierra de Bernia y Ferrer and Alt de l'Ample. The landscape is characterised by the green mountain slopes, imposing rock formations, the blue sky and the wonderful nature near the Mediterranean coast. Hiking along remote paths offers marvellous views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The pictures are inspired by the tranquillity that makes hiking in the mountainous hinterland of the province of Alicante a very special natural experience. Rocks bear the marks of time and symbolise the pure beauty of nature.

My nature shots are inspired by long hikes. When I'm in the mountains and let my gaze wander into the distance, the clocks seem to tick a little slower. Over years, millennia, millions of years, the rocks have been moulded by Mother Nature. In my opinion, they symbolise the originality of nature, which existed long before man and will hopefully continue to exist for a very long time. With my photographs, I would like to bring the magic of the mountains into your home.

Sierra de Olta in Calpe, Costa Blanca Spain

Sierra de Olta in Calpe, Costa Blanca Spain

Hiking with beautiful views of Calpe, Benidorm and the Mediterranean Sea.

The summit of the Sierra de Oltà offers fantastic views of the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park, the coastal town of Calpe, the Sierra de Bernia mountain range and the Sierra Helada Natural Park in Benidorm. In my opinion, the combination of the weathered limestone cliffs that characterise the plateau of the Sierra de Oltà and the views of the blue Mediterranean is particularly attractive. The mountain range is located to the north-west of Calpe and is one of my favourite destinations for hiking and photography on the Costa Blanca.

Every time I am in the Sierra de Oltà and let my gaze wander into the distance, the clocks seem to tick a little slower. The local hiking routes with their viewpoints are very attractive, as you can see the touristy coastline as well as the surrounding mountains from an elevated position. With my landscape photographs I would like to bring the scenic beauty of the Costa Blanca and its enchanting mountains into your home.

Mascarat Canyon, Costa Blanca Spain

Mascarat Canyon, Costa Blanca Spain

Views of breathtaking rock formations and the Mediterranean coast. The Mascarat Canyon is a popular hiking destination on the Costa Blanca. The impressive canyon is located between the coastal towns of Calpe and Altea, as well as between the mountain ranges of the Sierra de Bernia and the Morro de Toix. There are interesting viewpoints between the rock faces.

The rock bears the marks of erosion and the force of the water. It has been moulded by Mother Nature over long periods of time. There is also a fascinating combination of rocks and bridges. As the canyon was a difficult barrier for people to cross for a long time, three bridges have been built here. Beautiful nature is combined with masterpieces of engineering at this location.

An excursion to the Cañón del Mascarat can be perfectly combined with a hike to the heights of the Castellet de Calp and the Morro de Toix. These are two excellent viewpoints on the Costa Blanca, where you can see the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains near the coast. The view towards the Sierra Helada Natural Park and the coastal town of Benidorm is absolutely stunning. But the mountain range of the Sierra de Bernia, the Sierra de Oltà, as well as the Peñón de Ifach and the coastal town of Calpe are also real eye-catchers. With my photos of the Mediterranean coast, I would like to bring the scenic beauty of the Costa Blanca into your home.

Penon de Ifach Natural Park in Calpe, Spain

Penon de Ifach Natural Park in Calpe, Spain

The coastal landscape of the northern Costa Blanca - viewed from the summit of the Peñón de Ifach. Views of steep rock faces, the blue Mediterranean Sea and the coastal town of Calpe. The Peñón de Ifach Natural Park is an excellent vantage point on the Costa Blanca. The ascent is undoubtedly rewarded with a fantastic view of the sea and the mountains near the coast.

The Peñón de Ifach Natural Park is considered the symbol of the coastal town of Calpe. In past eras, it was used by the locals as an observation post and to protect the coast from pirates. It was part of a surveillance system on the Valencian coast. Today it is a popular destination for hikers and climbers. The rock is the habitat of numerous bird species. I particularly enjoy watching the gulls. They either rest on the limestone cliffs or fly high above the sea. So this photo series is dedicated to a bird's eye view of the Mediterranean. With my photos of the Mediterranean coast, I would like to bring the scenic beauty of the Costa Blanca into your home.

Cumbre del Sol I, Costa Blanca

Cumbre del Sol I, Costa Blanca

A beautiful cove and impressive rock formations on the Mediterranean coast in Spain.

At the foot of the Puig de la Llorença mountain, better known as Cumbre del Sol, there is a wonderful cove. Cala Moraig attracts numerous visitors with its clear sea water, a small beach and imposing cliffs. In my opinion, the view into the cave called Cova dels Arcs is particularly impressive. Here, the power of the seawater has created fantastic rock formations. Rocks bear the marks of time. Over years, millennia, millions of years, they have been moulded by Mother Nature.

Cala Moraig is definitely one of my favourite beaches on the northern Costa Blanca. It is the perfect place for relaxing, swimming and daydreaming. I have therefore dedicated a photo series to this very charming destination on the Mediterranean coast. It is inspired by seawater, limestone cliffs and bright sunlight - but also by the power of the waves that wash over the rocky coastline and transform it. With my photos of the Costa Blanca, I would like to bring the blue tones of the Mediterranean coast and the beauty of the rocks and waves into your home.

Sierra Helada Natural Park, Costa Blanca

Sierra Helada Natural Park, Costa Blanca

The Sierra Helada Natural Park is located on the Mediterranean coast and is a landmark of the Costa Blanca in Spain. The coastal towns of Albir and Benidorm are located at the foot of the mountain range. Hiking in the Sierra Helada offers wonderful views of the vast Mediterranean Sea, the steep cliffs and the coastal landscape. The views of Puig Campana and towards the Sierra de Bernia mountain range are also fantastic.

In my opinion, the light-coloured limestone cliffs and the green mountain slopes form a beautiful contrast to the blue tones of the sea. But the Sierra Helada is also an eye-catcher when viewed from a distance. The elongated mountain range rises majestically into the sea and has a striking silhouette.

The side of the Sierra Helada facing the sea impresses with its rugged cliffs, while the slopes facing away from the sea appear rather gentle. A particularly charming place is the lighthouse called Faro de l'Albir, which appears very picturesque in the mountain landscape. But the Sierra Helada is also a popular travel destination in the province of Alicante because of its imposing cliffs and breathtaking rock formations.

Incidentally, the name Sierra Helada means "icy" or "frosty mountain range". This probably refers less to the Mediterranean temperatures and more to the misty light moods on the coast and the bright colours of the cliffs, which give the Sierra Helada a frosty appearance on some days (when seen from a distance).

Beaches in Calpe, Costa Blanca Spain

Views of the coast and the Peñón de Ifach.

The beautiful beaches in Calpe and Benissa inspire me a lot, as they offer fantastic views of the Peñón de Ifach, the cliffs and the Mediterranean Sea. The Peñón de Ifach Natural Park (Penyal d'Ifac) is the landmark of the coastal town of Calpe and a popular tourist destination on the northern Costa Blanca. Its peak, which is 332 meters above sea level, is an excellent vantage point on the coast. But the Peñón de Ifach also offers interesting perspectives from a distance, making it a real eye-catcher.

When walking along the beaches in Calpe, the sight of the rock is omnipresent. I love hiking along the Paseo Ecológico de Benissa coastal path, and I almost always have my camera with me. Early in the morning to watch the sunrise over the Mediterranean Sea. During the day, when the coastal landscape is characterized by bright sunlight and Mediterranean blue tones. But also in the evening, when the sun moves towards the horizon and the coast is bathed in enchanting colors. Waves, abstract reflections in the sea water, clouds over the sea, but also the shapes of the rocks and sand are among my favorite subjects. In my opinion, the following beaches and bays near the Peñón de Ifach are particularly attractive: Cala del Penyal, Cala les Bassetes, Playa del Cantal Roig and Cala El Racó.

With my photos I would like to bring the charm of the Mediterranean coast and its dream beaches into your home.

Costa Blanca Spain, nature photography

Waves, cliffs and sand.

Clear sea water, waves, cliffs and sandy beaches on the Mediterranean coast in Spain. This photo series is dedicated to the elegant movements of the water, abstract reflections and the beautiful bays of the Costa Blanca in Spain. Sea water flows over rocks or fine sand. Waves move towards the coast. Sunlight is reflected in the wet sand. The relaxing sound of the sea is omnipresent.

When I´m on the beach with my camera, I´m inspired by natural structures, the interplay of colors and the constant movement of the water. Sometimes I am captivated by details that seem inconspicuous at first glance but have a very special charm on closer inspection.

Moments on the Mediterranean coast.

When photographing by the sea, it is important to me not only to depict what is visible, but also to incorporate other sensory impressions into my pictures. On the beach, I like the wind, but also the feeling of the soft sand and the cool water on the soles of my feet. Looking at the waves, I sometimes feel as if the clocks are ticking a little slower and I think about the meaning of time.

In my opinion, photography offers wonderful opportunities to capture brief moments and the subtle changes in flowing water. With this in mind, I like to take several shots of a scene. The resulting series of images are dedicated both to the magic of the moment and to change. Each shot shows a unique moment that is part of the constant change in nature. With my photos of the Mediterranean coast, I would like to bring the relaxing effect of sea water into your home.

Mediterranean coast, beach photography

Sea water and beach.

Flowing sea water meets sand and sunlight. I often enjoy the soothing sound of the sea and the relaxing atmosphere on the Mediterranean coast in Spain. Clear sea water flows elegantly over the rocks and meets the shore. Sometimes there are beautiful reflections in the wet sand and on the surface of the water. Waves, foam and sunlight create abstract effects in the water. I like to capture the natural structures and details with my camera.

Waves and reflections on the Costa Blanca.

In general, I love walking at the foot of the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park and in the beautiful bays of the northern Costa Blanca. The views of the sea and the cliffs inspire me a lot. In my opinion, the flowing water represents the beauty of nature, which is characterized by constant change and permanent movement. I am particularly fascinated by the gentle waves that are constantly forming and moving towards the coast. Waves have been leaving their mark on the beach for millions of years. Every wave shapes the coast.

By the sea, I think about the meaning of time and it often seems to me that the clocks tick a little slower. That’s why this series is dedicated to the meditative and abstract effect of sea water. I would like to bring the charm of the Mediterranean coast into your home with my beach photography.
