Description
A seagull resting on the railing looks at the marina of the coastal town of Calpe. Walking in the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park and along the Mediterranean coast in Calpe offers fantastic views. I like to linger in this area to watch the seagulls. I also find the combination of coastal landscape and urban architecture appealing. Without a doubt, the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park is one of my favourite destinations on the northern Costa Blanca.
Seagulls often like to pose in front of my camera, as in this picture. A seagull lets its gaze wander towards the Mediterranean Sea, which glows bright blue in the evening light. Some high-rise buildings on the seafront, lights and the boats in the harbour appear out of focus in the background. When I took this photo, I imagined seeing the Costa Blanca from the perspective of this bird. The dreamy atmosphere on the coast, the subtle colours and the warm sunlight inspired me.
This photo is dedicated to the relaxing ambience just before sunset and the seagulls of the Mediterranean coast. It is meant to bring the charm of the Costa Blanca and the grace of wild birds into your home.
