Soft clouds float over the Mediterranean. The wind creates beautiful waves. It is ideal weather for sailing. Sea water meets fine sand.
I took this photo at Cantal Roig. It is dedicated to the subtle colours of the Costa Blanca under a cloudy sky. Cantal Roig is one of my favourite beaches in Calpe, where I love to watch the sea, the waves and the sailing boats. There is a reddish-brown boulder on the beautiful sandy beach that is a real eye-catcher. The small bay is very close to the marina. The mountains near the coast are visible in the distance. The Morro de Toix in Calpe and the Sierra Helada in Benidorm are covered in clouds.
When walking along the coast in Calpe, I often enjoy the sound of the sea and the soft sand on the soles of my feet. I like to be inspired by the meditative effect of the waves, which are constantly changing and moving towards the coast. But I also find the subtle blue and grey tones of the coastal landscape very appealing. When I'm on the beach, I feel as if the clocks tick a little slower. With this beach scene, I would like to bring the relaxing atmosphere of the Mediterranean coast into your home.
