Description
Sea water that appears silver-gray and dark-gray against the light. When walking along the sandy beaches in Calpe, I often enjoy the sound of the sea and feel the soft sand on the soles of my feet. I am particularly fascinated by the gentle waves that keep emerging and moving towards the coast. When dark clouds approach the shore and the surface of the water is lit up by the last rays of the sun, the atmosphere by the sea can be very magical. Then the water and the wet sand appear almost monochromatic. It's the calm before the storm.
This photograph is dedicated to the interplay of sea water, waves and sand. Fascinated by the meditative effect of the flowing water and the structures on the water surface, I like to concentrate on the details. When searching for a motif, I strive to capture the elegant movement of water and reflections of light. The resulting images are inspired by the timeless beauty of nature and being in this very moment. The beach scene, still untouched by humans, is dedicated to the moment just before the first footprints appear in the fine sand.
When I walk along the coast and let my gaze wander towards the wide sea, the feelings of freedom and serenity are omnipresent. This Mediterranean beach scene is destined to bring some of the magic of the Costa Blanca into your home.
