Description
I often enjoy the sound of the sea and the relaxing ambience on the sandy beaches in Calpe. Walking barefoot along the coast, I like to feel the soft sand on the soles of my feet. I'm particularly fascinated by the gentle waves that are always forming and moving towards the coast. Foaming water meets fine sand. Elegant lines in the sand recall the shape of past waves. Thus, this minimalist photograph is dedicated to the interplay of seawater and sand. With each wave, the water leaves its traces on the sandy beach.
I like to integrate the meditative effect of the flowing water and the gentle movements of the waves into my photographs. I believe that the beauty of nature is often revealed in the details and the magic of simplicity. Regarding my choice of motifs, I am inspired by water as a symbol of life and being in this very moment. The beach scene is dedicated to the moment just before the first footprints might appear in the fine sand.
When I am on the beach and let my gaze wander towards the vast sea, the clocks seem to tick a little slower. This detail shot of the Mediterranean Sea is meant to bring the charm of the Costa Blanca into your four walls.
