Fire and flames: This series is dedicated to this topic because I associate numerous beautiful memories with active enjoyment in nature and a campfire afterwards. Golden glowing flames, rising steam or deep orange glowing wood can take the viewer into a fascinating world. I associate fire with magic, creativity, transformation and unpredictability. It can be destructive, but it can also create something new.
In general, I am fascinated by the seemingly random interplay of colors. The variety of compositions created by mother nature represents the magic of the moment and movement at the same time. How short or long, fleeting or intense a moment may be depends on individual feelings. In this context, the series of photographs is dedicated to the poetry of movement, change and transformation. It reflects both the beauty of nature and the world of emotions. In general I don’t consider photography as an attempt to capture a special moment, but as a kind of admiration. The series is inspired by the cycle of creation, being and transience in nature.
