Description
Calm ambience at sunset at a small pond in Saxony. Elegant silhouettes of trees and the colors of the evening sky are reflected on the surface of the frozen water. A winter day is drawing to a close. The air is cold and clear.
The sleeping nature is marked by warm lights and dark shadows. Just before sunset, the landscape is bathed in very special hues. The last rays of the day's sun appear on the horizon.
Walking across meadows and fields, I am inspired by the annual changes in nature. I love to incorporate the shapes of old trees, whose branches are clearly visible in the cold season, into my pictures.
This photograph is dedicated to the beauty of old trees with their slender trunks and complex branching, but also to the meditative effect of reflections in the water.
