Description
Winter evening atmosphere in Dresden. This photo is dedicated to the view of the Elbe, the Elbe meadows and in the direction of the bridge that is called Blaues Wunder (Blue Wonder). The Fernsehturm (Television Tower) can also be seen in the distance. From the elevated viewpoint at the Dresden Elbe castles, there is a wonderful view of the Elbe valley. The landscape is bathed in subtle, warm colours.
Walking through the historic parks of the baroque city of Dresden, I am inspired by the tranquil ambience at sunset and the annual changes in nature. I like to incorporate the shapes of old trees, whose branches are clearly visible in the cold season, into my pictures.
