Description
Sunlight, the green of the leaves and the blue of the sky are reflected in a lake. Gentle movements on the surface of the water give the reflection of nature an abstract and relaxing effect. The small lake is located in the middle of the forest. On a warm summer day, lingering on the shore and in the partial shade of the tall trees is very pleasant. The leaves rustle softly in the treetops. A bird sings its beautiful song. A light, summery wind breathes over the water.
When observing reflections in the water, I am very fascinated by the colours, natural structures, but also the picturesque interplay of light and shadow. In my opinion, reflections stand for the magic of the moment, which is part of the constant change in nature. The reflected image of a scene embodies a place that is created through visual perception. A place that fires the imagination and dreams. This photograph is inspired by long walks through enchanting forests and the meditative effect of water.
