Description
Reflections in the wet sand meet sea water and sunlight. On the Mediterranean coast I often enjoy the sound of the waves and feel the soft sand on the soles of my feet. I am particularly inspired by the structures in the sand and reflections on the water surface.
Abstract effects result when the sunlight is reflected in the wet sand. Above all, I am fascinated by the magical interplay of colors. Golden yellow meets light blue in this image.
I like to incorporate the meditative effect of the flowing water and fine details in the soft sand into my photos. In my opinion, the beauty of nature is often revealed in the details that I capture in minimalist compositions. On the beach I like to create series of photos dedicated to the movements of the flowing water. Each shot shows a brief and unique moment that is part of the permanent change in nature. Both timing and timelessness are issues that are very important to me in photography.
On the coast, it often seems to me that the clocks tick a little slower. So this photo is meant to bring the colors of the Mediterranean coast and the magic of the reflections into your four walls. The image is inspired by the tranquil ambience of the coast and the long sandy beaches of the Costa Blanca in Spain.
