Close-up of the natural structure of a palm leaf. Mediterranean sunlight makes the green leaf shine. This photograph focuses on the radial texture of the leaf and shadows of another palm leaf. Leaves are natural masterpieces of design in my opinion.
My search for abstraction in nature and my enthusiasm for detail inspired this minimalist photograph. While I was taking this shot, a light breeze was blowing, creating an enchanting interplay of lines, light and shadow. So this work shows a moment that is part of the constant change.
This work is part of a series dedicated to botanical photography on the Costa Blanca in Spain. It is designed to bring Mediterranean colors and vacation feelings into your four walls.
