Description
A winter sunset in Saxony. The dark silhouettes of the trees meet the bright colours of the evening sky.
The sleeping nature is characterised by warm lights and dark shadows. Shortly before sunset, the landscape appears almost black against the light. Golden sunlight shines out from behind the slender tree trunks. The air is cold and clear.
As I walk through the meadows and fields, I am inspired by the tranquil ambience and the annual changes in nature. I like to incorporate the shapes of old trees, whose branches are clearly visible in the cold season, into my pictures.
This photograph is dedicated to the beauty of trees with their slender trunks and complex branches, but also to the golden evening light.
