Long walks in nature and to remote places are my source of inspiration. A series of ink drawings is dedicated to the magic of old trees, their strong roots and silent places in the forest. Elegant shapes of roots, branches and stones are designed in black and white. Light and shadows are modeled with delicate, black lines.The drawing shows an old, graceful tree that grows on the sandstone. It is located at the top of the Lilienstein mountain in Saxon Switzerland (Germany). I associate Saxon Switzerland with wonderful memories of intense hikes and impressive views of the vast landscape.

Welcome to my portfolio and shop. My name is Adriana and I am fascinated by the magical interplay of light and shadow. Trees, mountains and reflections in water are my favorite topics. My creative activities are dedicated to nature photography, watercolor painting and drawing.
