Artist's Description
This painting is dedicated to the complex shapes of an old tree and its strong root. Watercolor on paper. Dark blue-gray meets pale yellow.The painting is inspired by one of my favorite trees. It grows on a sandstone rock which is a popular hiking destination in the east of Germany. I associate this place with beautiful memories of extensive hikes in Saxon Switzerland and Bohemian Switzerland.The original artwork and prints are available.
