Artist's Description
Walking along the sandy beaches in Calpe, I often enjoy the sound of the sea and feel the soft sand on the soles of my feet. I am particularly fascinated by the gentle waves that keep emerging and moving towards the coast. But the clear water that flows gently over the fine sand also inspires me a lot. Sunlight reflected in the wet sand creates silver-grey light effects that look very elegant.
This minimalist beach scene is dedicated to the mesmerizing effects of sunlight and the beautiful beaches of the Costa Blanca in Spain. I like to integrate the meditative effect of the flowing water and structures on the water surface into my photographs.
When searching for a motif, it is important to me to capture the elegant movements of the sea water and reflections. The resulting images are inspired by the timeless beauty of nature and being in this very moment.
