Artist's Description
Turquoise sea water flows over light brown rocks. On the Mediterranean coast, I am particularly inspired by the gentle movement of the waves and the clear water that flows elegantly over the rocks. The cove called Cala de la Granadella is considered one of the most beautiful coves on the northern Costa Blanca in Spain. I like hiking through the nature park and down to the beach to look at the sea water there. Depending on the weather conditions, the water surface appears in shades of turquoise and blue-green. Flowing water meets reflections of sunlight and the rocky seabed. This creates abstract effects and patterns.I like to experiment with symmetry based on detail shots. About Adriana Mueller

Welcome to my portfolio and shop. My name is Adriana and I am fascinated by the magical interplay of light and shadow. Trees, mountains and reflections in water are my favorite topics. My creative activities are dedicated to nature photography, watercolor painting and drawing. Long hikes through the enchanting forest, along the Mediterranean coast or in the mountains are my source of inspiration. Usually I prefer graphic and photographic design options to put my impressions on paper. Drawing and photography are the best ways for me to express my reflections and feelings. Since 2016 I've been creating two blogs which are dedicated to outdoor activities, nature photography and hiking trails. www.montepuro.com (Alicante province, Spain)...

This art image is sensational and lovely Adriana!! the turquoise water is so refreshing and inviting. the rock patterns are fascinating and exciting. in my abstract eyes, i see a sublime abstract painting. and when i turn my head to view this image horizontally, i see a rocky person looking back right at me. it feels like a communication with someone in another dimension. great work!! Adriana Mueller replied:
Thank you so much, Kevin! You're right, when you rotate the picture or turn your head, the rocks resemble a face. Before uploading, I thought about it for a while if I'd rather present the picture horizontally or vertically.
