Artist's Description
Soft clouds at sunset on the Mediterranean coast in Spain. Air meets sunlight and the dark silhouettes of palm leaves.
When the sun touches the horizon and the clouds are illuminated by the last rays of the day, the sky transforms into a fantastic dreamscape. Orange and purple clouds float above the decorative foliage of a palm tree. In contrast to the warm colors of the sky, the palm fronds appear almost black.
This photograph is dedicated to the interplay of plants and clouds - as well as the connection between heaven and earth. Light meets dark, soft meets hard. When I look at the evening sky, I like to imagine floating in a sea of clouds. I am particularly impressed by the wintry sunsets on the Costa Blanca with their magical colors and atmospheric cloudscapes.
