Hiking in the Sierra de Oltà, with wonderful views towards the cliffs and the Mediterranean Sea. Mountain goats make their home in this idyllic landscape on the Mediterranean coast. The peaceful animals linger on the rocky mountain slopes and enjoy the sun. The blue of the sky is reflected in the smooth surface of the sea. Mediterranean grasses, herbs and palm trees give the natural scene enchanting shades of green.

My photographic work is inspired by long hikes on remote mountain trails in the Alicante province in Spain. Every time I hike in the Sierra de Oltà and let my gaze wander into the distance, the clocks seem to tick more slowly. Surrounded by nature, feelings of calm and serenity are omnipresent. The local hiking routes offer wonderful views of the sea - and sometimes I meet animals along the way.
