On the Costa Blanca in Spain, I like to be inspired by the sound of the sea, the waves and the reflections of the sunlight. Gentle movements give the water surface an abstract effect. In my opinion, flowing water represents the beauty in nature, which is characterised by permanent movement and change.
In the evening, I particularly like the colours on the Mediterranean coast. I took this photo shortly before sunset, when the cliffs were reflected in the water. When the rocks on the coast are illuminated by the last rays of the day, they often appear in shades of light brown, yellow and gold. Golden yellow meets dark blue on the surface of the water.
When I spend time by the sea, I am fascinated by the details, the interplay of colours and abstract textures.
