Air meets rocks and golden sunlight. When the sun sets behind the mountain peaks in the evening and the landscape is illuminated by warm sunlight, the ambience in the rural hinterland of the Costa Blanca is particularly atmospheric.This photograph is dedicated to the last rays of the sun shining through a crack in the rock just before sunset. The wide landscape in the background is bathed in subtle colors. A light haze obscures the details and lets the small settlement in the valley merge with the surrounding mountains and the clouds. Hard rock meets soft light.When I hike on remote mountain trails and let my gaze wander into the distance, the clocks seem to tick more slowly. So this picture is inspired by an enchanting moment which is part of the constant change in nature.
