Detail of the blue door of a traditional house on the Mediterranean coast. The picturesque bay of Cala Barraca is located between Cap Prim and Cap Negre. The bay is also called Cala Portitxol. Because of the clear water and the traditional fishermen's houses, it is a popular destination on the Costa Blanca in Spain. The traditional white cottages have blue doors. The combination of the typical Mediterranean houses, the beautiful beach and the views of the cliffs give the bay a very special charm. Cala Barraca is also known as the bay of blue doors. This photo is inspired by the Mediterranean architecture and the dreamy blue tones on the Costa Blanca.
