White almond blossoms unfold their delicate beauty in the semi-shade of an almond tree. The petals glow subtly in the Mediterranean sunlight. Light meets shadow. A gentle touch of spring is in the air. Nature photography on the Costa Blanca in Spain that is inspired by the almond trees in bloom and the tranquil rural life. The natural grace of the almond blossoms, which contrasts with the rough wood of the branches and twigs, inspired me to create this picture.

This photograph is dedicated to a wonderful spectacle of nature that takes place every year in the Alicante province. The almond trees are in bloom.

The almond blossom on the Costa Blanca begins in January and reaches its peak in February. Both directly on the coast and in the agricultural hinterland, the white and soft pink blossoms transform the landscape into an enchanting sea of flowers.
