View from the Les Bassetes cove towards the blue Mediterranean Sea and the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park in Calpe. Warm evening light illuminates the stones and the ambience on the coast is quite calm just before sunset.
The rock called Peñón de Ifach (Penyal d'Ifac) is the symbol of the coastal town of Calpe and a popular tourist destination on the northern Costa Blanca. From its peak, which is 332 meters above sea level, there is a fantastic view of the Mediterranean Sea and the coast. But there are also interesting perspectives from afar, with the Peñón de Ifach being the eye-catcher.
When walking along the coast in Calpe, the imposing sight of the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park is omnipresent. I also enjoy the meditative effect of the sound of the sea and the waves. This photograph is meant to bring the relaxing seaside ambience and the charm of the Costa Blanca into your home.
