View from the Sierra de Oltà mountain towards the coastal town of Benidorm, the Sierra Helada Natural Park (Serra Gelada) and the blue Mediterranean Sea. The headland called Sierra Helada is a popular hiking destination on the Mediterranean coast in Spain. Even from a distance, the elongated profile of the mountain range is clearly visible. The nature park rises majestically out of the sea. The urban architecture of Benidorm appears very small in the vast landscape.
My photographic work is inspired by long hikes on remote mountain trails in the Alicante province in Spain. Every time I hike in the Sierra de Oltà and let my gaze wander into the distance, the feelings of freedom and serenity are omnipresent. The local hiking routes offer wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea and towards the surrounding mountains. This landscape photo is designed to bring some of the charm of the Costa Blanca and the enchanting mountains of the Mediterranean coast into your home.
