Description
Winter sunset on a small pond in Saxony. Elegant silhouettes of trees and the colors of the evening sky are reflected on the surface of the frozen water.
The sleeping nature is characterized by warm lights and dark shadows. Just before sunset, the landscape is bathed in very special hues. Golden sunlight shines from behind the slender tree trunks. The air is cold and clear.
Walking across meadows and fields, I am inspired by the tranquil ambience and the annual changes in nature. I love to incorporate the shapes of old trees, whose branches are clearly visible in the cold season, into my pictures. This photograph is dedicated to the beauty of old trees with their slender trunks and complex branching, but also to the meditative effect of reflections in the water.
