Against the light, the petals appear very lovely and unfold their delicate beauty. A gentle touch of spring is in the air and the pretty almond blossoms are a harbinger of nature's awakening.

Nature photography on the Costa Blanca in Spain that is inspired by the almond trees in bloom and the tranquil rural life. The natural grace of the small almond blossoms, but also the interplay of lights and shadows inspired me to create this picture.

This photograph is dedicated to a wonderful spectacle of nature that takes place every year in the Alicante province. The almond trees are in bloom.

The almond blossom on the Costa Blanca begins in January and reaches its peak in February. Both directly on the coast and in the agricultural hinterland, the white and soft pink blossoms transform the landscape into a magical sea of flowers.
