Sea water that appears silver-gray and dark-gray against the light. When walking along the sandy beaches in Calpe, I often enjoy the sound of the sea and feel the soft sand on the soles of my feet. I am particularly fascinated by the gentle waves that keep emerging and moving towards the coast. When dark clouds approach the shore and the surface of the water is lit up by the last rays of the sun, the atmosphere by the sea can be very magical. Then the water and the wet sand appear almost monochromatic. It's the calm before the storm.
This photograph is dedicated to the interplay of sea water, waves and sand. Fascinated by the meditative effect of the flowing water and the structures on the water surface, I like to concentrate on the details. When searching for a motif, I strive to capture the elegant movement of water and reflections of light.
