Description
The structure of a steep rock face is reflected on the calm surface of the water in a quarry. The perfectly smooth water surface gives the reflection of nature an abstract and dreamlike effect.
It seems as if the rocks and their reflected image would melt together. This effect is emphasized by the reflection of the reflection.
This work is a symmetrical composition dedicated to the magical effect of reflections in water. The interplay of colors, lights and shadows inspired me to create this abstract composition. Rock structures meet water and sunlight.
