View from the mountain ridge of the Sierra del Carrascal de Parcent towards the mountains called Sierra de Bernia and Ferrer. Hard limestone cliffs meet soft clouds. Away from the touristy coastal region, you can enjoy the best views high up in the mountains.
This photograph is dedicated to the peace and seclusion that makes hiking in the mountainous hinterland of the Alicante province a very special nature experience. Rock formations that bear the marks of time and at the same time stand for the timeless beauty of nature.
My work is inspired by long hikes in the southeast of Spain, where I'm enchanted by Mediterranean landscapes and rough limestone cliffs. The characteristic shapes of the limestone, which have been formed by weathering, are called lapiaz.
When I'm out in nature and let my gaze wander across the wide landscape, the feelings of freedom and serenity are omnipresent. This mountain landscape is destined to bring some of the magic of the Spanish mountai...
