The warm colours of the evening light are reflected in the wet sand. I took this photo just before sunset on the Mediterranean coast. Walking along the sandy beaches in Calpe, I enjoy the sound of the sea and love feeling the soft sand on the soles of my feet. I find the gentle waves and the reflections of the sunlight in the wet sand particularly appealing.
So this beach scene is dedicated to the interplay of seawater and sand. As I am inspired by the relaxing ambience on the beach, I love capturing the movements of the water, details and natural structures with my camera. In my opinion, the effects of light and shadow, but also the colours, represent the magic of the moment, which is part of the constant change in nature. With this photo I want to bring the enchanting effect of seawater, sunlight and sand into your home.
