Description
Relaxing ambience in the shade of an olive tree, with a wonderful view towards the fields and mountains. In the agricultural area between Benissa and Calpe, the scent of spring is in the air. Clover and grasses grow between the olive trees. Mediterranean sunlight makes the green of the plants look very lush and fertile. In the distance the mountain ridge of the Sierra de Bernia rises majestically.
Especially on hot and sunny days, I find resting in the shade of the olive trees to be very pleasant. It seems as if the clocks are ticking a little slower. I am fascinated by the graceful appearance of old trees, with their elegant leaves and dense treetops. Maybe it's because trees grow in a certain place over a long period of time while the world around them is constantly changing. Trees can give people fruit, shade and tranquility.
My photographic work is inspired by long hikes on remote mountain trails and in the agricultural hinterland of the Alicante province. In the midst of nature, I love being enchanted by traditional fields, trees and places of historical importance. This photograph is destined to bring some of the charm of rural idyll into your home.
