Description
The bright pink flowers of the rhododendron are embedded in the lush green of the fern leaves, creating a refreshing colour contrast in the midst of nature. Both the vibrant colours of early summer and the combination of the delicate flowers and the fern leaves with their complex structure inspired me to create this picture. Sometimes it's the quiet motifs that seem inconspicuous at first glance that reveal a very special magic on closer inspection. I also incorporated thoughts about time and the cycle of life. The plants are intended to symbolise natural beauty and being in this moment. But they are also intended to remind us that all living organisms are in a constant state of change.
