Artist's Description

Abstract pencil drawing of a living creature that has not yet been discovered.

This concept of an imaginary life form is designed to combine signs from the past with ideas for the future. I am very fascinated by fossils and traces of living creatures from the past. On the one hand, they represent what was there. On the other hand, they symbolise the origin and creation of life.

The design is based on the idea that ancient life forms can represent a link between the past and the future. They inspire me to take a mental journey through the millennia or millions of years. It feels like travelling in a time machine. They inspired me to imagine what an undiscovered creature from the past or a future creature might look like.

Every living being leaves its traces and signs in the course of time. Some of them will be discovered. This drawing is based on the idea of such a discovery.

About Adriana Mueller

Adriana Mueller

Welcome to my portfolio and shop. My name is Adriana and I love exploring the surroundings with my camera. I am fascinated by the interplay of light and shadow, but also by details and natural structures. Trees and their strong roots, mountain landscapes, the Mediterranean Sea and abstract reflections are among my favorite topics. I would like to share my impressions with you and bring the enchantment of nature into your home. My creative activities are dedicated to nature photography in Alicante province (Spain) and Saxony (Germany), as well as drawing and watercolor painting. Long hikes in the mountains, through forests and along the Mediterranean coast inspire me a lot. When I am out in nature and let my gaze wander over the vast...
