Description
Scenic clouds over the sea - light blue sky and tranquil ambience on the Mediterranean coast in Spain. View of the dark silhouettes of rocks and trees by the sea. On the horizon you can guess the warm sunlight. I painted this Mediterranean coastal landscape using the wet-on-wet watercolor technique. It is part of a series depicting various cloudscapes.
The colors of the sky and the vast landscapes near the Mediterranean coast inspire me a lot. In my opinion, watercolor techniques are a wonderful way to reflect these impressions. My memories of long hikes along the coast and in the mountains have flowed into this work.
Looking towards the steep cliffs and the wide sea ... walking barefoot in the fine sand ... feeling the salty note in the air ... listening to the sound of the sea ... climbing up remote paths near the coast.
