The Sierra Helada Natural Park is located on the Mediterranean coast and is a landmark of the Costa Blanca in Spain. Hiking through the countryside offers wonderful views of the mountainous landscape. The side of the Sierra Helada facing the sea impresses with its steep rock faces, while the slopes facing away from the sea appear rather gentle.
These gentle, partly wooded mountain slopes characterise the foreground of the picture. The view into the valley and towards the mountains of the hinterland inspired me to take this photo. Nature meets the urban architecture of the coastal town of Benidorm. Soft clouds hover over the mountain landscape. In the distance, the Puig Campana, which rises majestically towards the clouds, is a real eye-catcher.
Due to its exposed location on the coast, the Sierra Helada is a popular holiday destination in the province of Alicante. This photo is dedicated to the sight of Puig Campana and is intended to bring the scenic beauty of the Costa Blanca into your home.
