Views of the cliffs and the blue Mediterranean Sea. At the foot of the Cumbre des Sol mountain is a dreamlike bay surrounded by an impressive rocky backdrop. Cala Moraig is undoubtedly one of my favourite bays on the northern Costa Blanca, as this is where seawater meets rock that has been shaped by the force of the water over many thousands of years. Looking at the rocks and the movement of the water makes me think about time and change in nature. The coastal scene is characterised by the light colours of the limestone, but also by the blue sky and the clear sea water. The rock formation of Morro Falquí is the eye-catcher in the landscape.
My work is inspired by long coastal walks. When I am at the Mediterranean and let my gaze wander into the distance, the clocks seem to tick a little slower. This photo is dedicated to the cliffs and the relaxing ambience on the northern Costa Blanca in Spain. With this photo of Morro Falquí, I want to bring the magic of the Mediterranean coast into your home, but also awaken holiday feelings and a desire to travel.
