Description
The rocky cove called Cala Moraig enchants with its clear water, steep cliffs and imposing rock formations. It is located at the foot of the Puig de la Llorença mountain, better known as Cumbre del Sol. In my opinion, the view into the cave called Cova dels Arcs is particularly impressive. The power of the sea water has created fantastic rock shapes in this place.
Sunlight shines into the interior of the cave through openings in the rock that appear like arches. The interplay of light and shadow emphasizes the unique rock shapes and creates a magical ambience. Waves meet rocks. Limestones formed by hydropower meet the sound of the sea.
This photograph is dedicated to the view of the blue sea through the rocky arches, the relaxing ambience of the coast and the beautiful bays of the northern Costa Blanca in Spain. A coastal landscape on the Mediterranean Sea that is meant to ignite holiday feelings and wanderlust.
My work is inspired by long hikes along the Mediterranean coast. When I walk along the sea and let my gaze wander into the distance, the feelings of freedom and serenity are omnipresent. Rocks bear the marks of time and stand for the timeless beauty of nature. This Mediterranean beach scene is destined to bring some of the magic of the Costa Blanca into your home.
