Blue-gray water meets beige sand. Subtle hues at sunrise on the Mediterranean coast and the moment just before the first footprints appear in the sand.
Walking along the sandy beaches in Calpe, I often enjoy the sound of the sea and feel the soft sand on the soles of my feet. I am particularly fascinated by the warm colors and subtle textures of the fine sand, but also by the gentle waves.
This beach scene is dedicated to the quiet ambience on the coast. I like to start looking for a motif early in the morning when the coastal landscape is lit up by the first rays of the day. The meditative effect of the flowing water inspires me very much and I concentrate on details. In my opinion, the timeless beauty of nature is revealed in minimalist compositions. The interplay of sea water and sand is meant to represent the magic of the moment, which is part of the permanent change in nature.
This photo is inspired by the colors at sunrise and long walks on the beach on the northern Costa Blanca. It is meant to bring the relaxing effect of sea water and sand into your home.
